Anotace knihy

This composite volume of ''The Wisdom Trilogy'' is a mythical story about the family of Wisdom, which is in effect a poetic study of the emergence of consciousness in human form. The unfolding of consciousness becomes apparent as the Wisdom generations make response to their Earth experience, largely of race, gender, and environment. The concepts of ascent and descent are major themes which are made explicit throughout the story, while modes of perception are embodied in human form as this holds the key to the dramatic story of evolution. The story has been speeded up to cover the period from 1900 to the middle of this present century, thus giving the reader some familiar points of reference to work with.
