Dear Reader,

Over the years of pastoral counseling and discipleship ministry, I have noticed many believers feel defeated. They stumble repeatedly in the same areas of their lives. Even in my life, I have noticed that some aspects are difficult to overcome. This is my primary motivation for writing "VICTORIOUS: God's Guidelines for Successful Living."

In this book, I zoomed into several critical spiritual aspects, such as comprehension, calculation, submission, and guidance. Some chapters are short, and some are longer, but all contain powerful spiritual truths. The book's last chapter introduces you to a powerful spiritual discipline-Lectio Divina, used by many believers today to deepen their intimacy with the Lord. At the end of the book, I offer my readers additional insightful information, primarily based on the Book of Colossians.

Why do most believers feel defeated instead of victorious? Simply put, they do not have an accurate view of God and His grace and lack a deep, personal understanding of who they are in Christ, which we refer to as 'experiential knowledge.'

• Certainly, every born-again believer desires to follow Christ faithfully, bear much fruit, glorify God, and walk in victory. But moving from the desire stage to the implementation phase is a different story.
