This book examines blind and visual writing in the autobiographical works of Taha Hussein and Ved Mehta. It does not dwell on the relationship between the handicapped and society or their personal and psychological problems. It rather attempts to analyze how the blind autobiographer in the case of Hussein and Mehta expresses himself non-visually as well as visually. It also discusses narration and different types of humor in the works of both writers.
