This textbook focuses on concrete-filled steel tubular structures formed by placing concrete inside tubes. It deals with the mechanical essence of concrete-filled steel tubular members in compression (tension), bending, torsion, shear and composite effect, the working mechanism of concrete-filled steel tubular members under long-term load, cyclic load, fire exposure and post fire exposure, and proposes practical design methods based on theoretical and experimental studies and parametric analysis.
