This is the story of that journey for one particular man, and for all of us. Since his first fateful summer job-testing power drills to ensure technical obsolescence at Black & Decker-Bill Angle has worked at the intersection of design, engineering, technology, and business, parlaying those interests into a multi-decades-long career determining, defining, and redefining infrastructure and data center design.

Along the way, he was instrumental in developing the first Tier IV data center, creating the new reliability standard for the industry, helped to develop low-latency trading infrastructure for the New York Stock Exchange and Euronext, consulted on the design and completion of the Freedom Tower, and worked with the EPA to develop the Green Energy Data Center Standards now used in the US and around the world, successes that were made possible by the innovative approach to problem solving Bill developed to help him see outside and beyond the typical silos of engineering, operations, and network thinking.

But Bill was never alone on his journey, and while The Technology Train is the story of the technological successes, it is also about his relationship with God and his faith in God as the ultimate designer. Here, he shares how this faith guided and shaped his approach to problem-solving and out-of-the-box thinking, cementing his belief in the scientific value of the Bible and its power to develop both our mental and spiritual potential.
