Anotace knihy

It is a book about the "beauty and wonder of His death and resurrection," about grace and mercy. "I am not a believer in so-called 'channeling'," says this new Christian, "but I wake up at 3 a.m. with a 'sermon' or essay going on in my head and have no hope of sleeping again until I get up and write it down. I believe my Lord is telling me things, and I had better share them." That Same Persistent Chase is both religious and anti-religious. It assumes that a committed Christian will be associated with a church, but warns that mere church membership does not constitute membership in the Kingdom of God. Regarding much of religion today, the book poses the question, "When did Jesus ask for that?"
