Anotace knihy

The philosophy behind RtI is that all children §whether general education or special education will §get the appropriate support they need to be §successful in school. Changes in general education §and special education mandates have supported this §philosophy. RtI requires individual schools to take §a closer look at how they are intervening for all §students. I have highlighted a school who has §successfully implemented what I think is the §beginning steps of a successful RtI model. RtI is §not easy to implement and there is no cookie cutter §model, it requires a collaborative school team to §work together to develop a plan that includes good §instruction, appropriate interventions, §implementation with fidelity, monitoring and §evaluating data, and continued administrative §support in order to help ALL students learn.
