In this book "Osteomyelitis of the jaws", after a brief introduction, various terms associated with osteomyelitis have been described. A broad and varied classification is given based on various modalities that include etiology, pathogenesis, clinical picture, radiology and histopathology. In accordance to this classification, complete microbiology and histopathology of osteomyelitis is covered.
