It seemed the cards were stacked against her, but there had been planted in Vera down through the ages, a destiny and a purpose for her life. Though she did wrong things for the wrong reasons, God was still able to use her and keep her. Vera was blessed to have a Mother who pushed her forward while insisting she hold on to what she had learned from her past. By putting others first, Vera, in the end, came out the winner.
