This text addresses the three critical issues of interviewing and interrogating; how to gather information from people; how to assess the credibility of the information that is collected; and how to encourage resistant sources to share the information that they possess. Investigative Interviewing and Interrogation distils the existing research on investigative interviewing into a small number of easily understood principles. After the relevant principle is introduced, it shows the reader how to utilize that principle, providing applicable examples.
