"My name is Rix. I am one of the filter cleaners in Habitat Outpost 12 who makes sure people can breathe.
The Earth is dying. Hah, the Earth is already dead. The temperatures are climbing. We have to work in 60 plus degrees Celsius outside the dome. Our protective suits only last a few hours.
I don't know why I am making this recording. Who will listen to it? The remains of humanity are all in this mess.
I hope for a place on Hope Five. But who am I kidding? I'll never get a place. I'll never be evacuated to Mars.
The rumours are that Mars doesn't like the millions of refugees on each Hope colony ship landing on their territory. But I can't believe that. Why would they hate us?
The Supreme Commander Vorgor knows what he is doing. He is a good leader. His deputy, Captain Grach, is...a good deputy. I don't have any views on politics.
It's almost time for work. There will be a limit to these days. I live in hope of survival. Hope Five will be the last ship.
There goes my alarm. It is early morning. This is one of the last mornings."

She is in a critical occupation like her associates and will hopefully be made ready to board Hope Five in the coming months for evacuation to Mars like the other colony ships.
Note to reader of this document: Do not let the subjects know that they are candidates for acceptance into Hope Five. A citizen who does not know that they have been accepted, is a citizen who is much more pliable.
