Anotace knihy
Every sentence has one thing wrong. Find it, fix it.
This book teaches grammar the way editors learn it: by fixing real mistakes. Every
one of its 1,840 sentences carries exactly one planted error - a missing capital, a
wrong end mark, a lost apostrophe, a there/their/they're mix-up - and the child's job
is to catch it and write the correction. It ends at The Editor's Desk, where anything
goes and every sentence must be read with editor's eyes.
No wall of problems. Every page is a handful of small lettered blocks worth
100 points together, with a bonus for finishing each one.
An answer key you can trust, by construction. Each error was planted by the
same program that printed the sentence, and the key was re-checked by applying every
correction back and matching the clean sentence. The key and the questions agree by
construction.
