The huge amount of data over the Web offers numerouspossibilities to bridge the digital gap between the people workingin heterogeneous contextual settings, such as the different socialcontexts, interaction devices, personal capabilities andpreferences. It would be unwise to ignore the importance of therecently emerging activity based Web for all types of users, andits relationship with the Knowledge Management. The frequency oftransactions made over the Web and the ever increasing publishedcontents must be somehow taken into account considering the varyingphysical and cognitive abilities of the users. The exploitation ofthe quickly changing nature of the Web could help a lot towardsdigital inclusion of All. Though, ignoring this fact would resultin accelerating the digital divide. Therefore, innovativeapproaches are required which are generic to some extent, and couldfurther be customized catering different needs. Such anadvancement, namely the Connecting Ontology for connecting theheterogeneous information domains, is presented in this book. Anumber of scenarios are presented where the approach could beusefully applied for the benefit of all types of users.
