It is relatively easier to write about the cities and the places where I have lived and worked. Over the years I was moving from one city to another to improve my lot and it was a perpetual struggle. The change in my circumstances and aspirations induced me to look for new avenues and as such I could easily rehabilitate where ever I got suitable opportunity after mailing my curriculum vitae, meeting personnel managers of factories and travelling for interviews. I was at the cross roads and my world was limited to hopes, uncertainties but with determination to find meaningful work. Like countless young Indians of my generation, I was not travelling for pleasure, I was travelling in search of opportunities.
