Scientists predict an eruption and collapse of the Cumbre Vieja volcano. A single tsunami created by such event could threaten the sustainability of the city of Miami, Florida. Following Hurricane Katrina, planners were assigned the task of rebuilding a city that by then seemed foreign to them. A potential tsunami lasting a short period of time could be deadlier than the relatively longer-lived Hurricane Katrina.
