Filipinos overseas constitute a diaspora, more than eight million people living and working in almost every country in the world. This phenomenon will continue and increase. What forces propel this movement? What is its direction and strength? What challenges and opportunities face Filipinos overseas? What are the implications on the countries where they work and settle?
