Anotace knihy

The significance of the epistle to the Hebrews cannot be overstated for Christians. A.T. Robertson considered it as "the first great apologetic for Christianity" (as did A.B. Bruce), and in his estimation it "has never been sur-passed." Hebrews teaches the Christian about the distinc-tive nature of Christ's new covenant like no other docu-ment in the New Testament. While other NT documents treat the distinction between the covenants (e.g., Romans and Galatians), no other book in the canon comments as directly and extensively upon Christ's new covenant as does Hebrews.
