This short book approaches quantum field theory via the study of a selection of important papers in QED, electroweak theory and QCD. This book is aimed at graduate students who have mastered quantum mechanics and special relativity, and are about to embark on a study of QED, and QFT in general. It provides an invaluable framework for a reader to subsequently work through standard QFT textbooks. For the graduate student embarking on working through the standard texts, seeing the big picture framework of quantum field theory can be difficult.
