Vladimir Korovitsyn was born in the Great Novgorod in 1956. Having graduated from the Petersburg Conservatoire in 1981 he was admitted to the Russian Composers' Union. Korovitsyn is the laureate of different musical competitions. Не was awardedf or his creations at the Stockholm "Melody Competition" taking рlасе in 1992 and at the Petersburg Spring оf Romance in 2000. This edition represents two рiеcеs for violin and рiano by Vladimir Korovitsyn, called the "Show-booth" and "Harlequin".
