Anotace knihy

You have tried everything. And some part of you is starting to wonder if the problem is you.

It is not.

But it is something inside you - something deeper than habits, older than your excuses, and invisible to every method you have ever tried.

It is the identity you have been assuming without knowing you were assuming it. And until it changes, nothing else will. Not permanently. Not completely. Not in the way you actually mean when you say you want your life to be different.

This is not another book about mindset.

It is a precise, practical guide to the one mechanism that determines - before you make a single conscious choice - what kind of life is available to you. The mechanism that has been running your results, your relationships, and your ceiling for your entire adult life.

In The Assumed Self, you will discover:

• The specific reason why your changes don't stick - and why more discipline will never fix it
• How to locate the invisible premise that is silently organizing everything you experience
• The exact difference between wanting a different life and actually inhabiting one
• Why the people around you are unconsciously holding you in place - and what to do about it
• How to assume a new identity so completely that the old one stops feeling like an option

The gap between your current life and the one you want is not a gap in effort, strategy, or time.

It is a gap in identity. And identity can be changed - precisely, deliberately, and permanently.

The Assumed Self is Book 2 in the Applied Consciousness Series by Michael Karter. Readers of The Wrong State will find this volume picks up exactly where the first left them. New readers will find it fully self-contained.

If you have ever felt like you are living the life of a slightly wrong version of yourself - this book was written for you.
