Televising History: Mediating the Past in Postwar Europe examines the representation of history on television in the context of the immense economic and political changes experienced in Europe in the postwar era, and particularly in the past three decades. It considers how elements of the recent and more distant past have been used and adopted by scholars and media professionals alike.
