When Olin tries to call the surface for help, the killer intercepts the hardline, using perfect deepfake audio of Olin's own voice to cancel the rescue. Choking on the oxygen-depleting air and dodging the mechanical onslaught, Olin realizes he cannot outrun the machines. To survive, he makes a desperate, suicidal play: strapping a heavy-duty military degausser to his chest to unleash a massive electromagnetic pulse. It's a gamble that will either erase the killer forever, or entomb Olin in the freezing dark.
