Anotace knihy

It has been more than a decade since new elementary particles were discovered. It was therefore important in 1992 to hold a workshop on the status and the prospects for finding new elementary particles using the full variety of search methods which are, or will be, available to the physicist. This includes searches using high-energy and low-energy accelerators, non-accelerator experiments, astrophysical observations and deductions from theory and other data. Most of the reviews were by experimenters with the various areas connected together by theoretical overview talks and the summary talk.
