Anotace knihy

"Savannah's Blessing" is the story of Savannah Maxwell and her little brother Sam. They are the youngest members of a very large southern family of Scots Irish descent. With four older siblings their lives are endlessly entertaining. Sam sees things more clearly than most and Savannah joins him in his attempts at squeezing as much out of each day as possible. He flies through life freely, unconcerned with convention. Savannah is gentle, quiet, responsible, and in awe of her tiny brother. Growing up during the 1960's in the hills of southwest Virginia, their young lives are rich in humor and goodness until a tragic accident changes things forever.
