Anotace knihy

"Rooms" celebrates the best interiors around the world, beautifully presented through the photography of Derry Moore, the 12th Earl of Drogheda, who for nearly thirty-five years has photographed some of the world's greatest houses as well as some of the world's most notable personalities in their houses. Having photographed a dazzling array of settings-from famed early-20th-century interior designer Elsie de Wolfe's own home to contemporary design legend Renzo Mongiardino's interiors for a 12-foot-wide, 10-story town house in Turin-Moore revolutionized the genre of interiors photography with his technical acuity, his keen aesthetic eye, and his impeccably good taste. Over the span of his career Derry Moore, as a regular contributor to "Nest and Architectural Digest" magazines, has photographed houses and apartments that range from the stately to the avant-garde, and design enthusiasts of all stripes will want the exquisitely packaged Rooms to grace their bookshelves.
