Aerospace Predictive Maintenance: Fundamental Concepts, written by longtime practitioner Charles E. Dibsdale based in the UK, considers PdM a subset of Condition Based Maintenance (CBM), and must obey the same underlying rules and pre-requisites that apply to it.
