This book utilizes a unique clinical approach. Most current textbooks of pediatrics are based on 'systemic approach'. However, children or their parents present to the pediatrician with a symptom or an obvious sign. Therefore, in the process leading to a diagnosis, a 'symptom complex approach' is more practical, direct, effective and time saving than a 'system approach'. This book utilizes that approach in diagnosis in children. This is desperately needed in the present day scenario.
