Jesus taught His followers to ask for one day's provision at a time. Not a year's supply. Not enough to stop needing Him by Thursday. Just today. That small request sits in the middle of the most familiar prayer in the world, and most of us pray right past it.

Our Daily Bread is a 24-week study for people who want to learn what daily dependence on God actually looks like - in a real week, with real bills, real doubts, and real disappointments. It walks through Scripture in four movements: the wilderness where Israel learned to gather manna one morning at a time, the sixth chapter of John where Jesus says He Himself is the bread, the ordinary rhythms of prayer and repentance and trust that carry a believer through a hard season, and the table where people who have been fed become part of how God feeds somebody else.

Each week includes:

• A passage to read in your own Bible
• Background that makes the setting clear
• Teaching that stays with the text
• Four discussion questions
• A prayer, and one specific practice for the week ahead

Eighteen weeks include a section called An Honest Question, where the hard objections get stated fairly instead of avoided: why God allows hunger, whether prayer changes anything, what to do when the provision does not come. Where Christians have long disagreed, the disagreement is named rather than settled quietly in one direction.

This study makes no promises the Bible does not make. It will not tell you that faith produces health, wealth, or immediate answers, or that Christians stop struggling. What it offers is Scripture, examined honestly, by a pastor who has sat with people on the worst day of their lives.

Written for individuals, small groups, and Sunday school classes. Includes nine pages of leader resources with session plans, guidance for handling sensitive weeks, and nine optional Ministry Moments. Scripture quotations are from the Christian Standard Bible.
