[OR] might be a collection of cipher poems. Or not. Codes are hidden everywhere, sliding through the atmosphere, slipping into microwave towers, handheld devices, your Twitter account. Each poem gets read a few times, its code deciphered or ciphered back up. Each reader reads his or her own poem and encodes it for another. What communication crosses out, these poems try to find. Brian Henderson has published ten volumes of poetry, the latest of which, Sharawadji, was nominated for the Canadian Authors Association Award for Poetry in 2012. Nerve Language was a finalist for the Governor General's Award in 2007.
