Anotace knihy

Technical textile is a textile product manufactured for non-aesthetic purposes, where function is the primary criterion.It is a large and growing sector and supports a vast array of other industries.This study was focused to enhance the application of the natural fibers in the field of technical textiles. Natural fibers are abundantly available on the Mother Earth. The fibers coir, jute, sisal and PET were used as raw materials for the study.These fibers were convereted into needle punched non-woven fabrics. The prepared fabrics were tested for the suitability in the selected fields of technical textiles such agro tech, build tech and geo tech .The results obtained from the prepared fabrics had given great recommendations for the future technical textile industry.
