The "SANDHI OF SANSKRIT WORDS" is a web based system for enabling the computer to analyze the joining of Sanskrit language words. "analyze the joining" means, among other things, knowing what concepts a word joining stands for and how to link those concepts together in a meaningful way. The system belongs to the wider domain of Artificial Intelligence. The system is meant to serve as a web application accessible to users throughout the globe. The system might act as a tutorial for the understanding semantic of a language. The goal of the SANDHI OF SANSKRIT WORDS is to analyze, understand, and generate languages that humans use naturally, so that eventually the user will be able to address his computer as though he was addressing another person. All natural languages abide by X Bar theory which is based on the premise that all phrases in all languages have the same structure, only difference is the linear order. In this system the word joining is analyzed on the basis of "ASTADHYAYI" sutras.
