The objective is morphological transformations are used to detect the background in images characterized by poor lighting. Enhancement of images and background detection using Mathematical Morphological theory on dark images. Due to poor lightening the background of the image is not clear. This image can be enhanced by lightening the back ground with various morphological operations.
