Excerpt from Lippincott Flower Seeds, 1905 The most fragrant and longest keeping cut żower. One of the most valuable introductions of late years. The żowers are the size of a medium Carnation, freely produced on long stems, which renders them valuable for cutting; color pure white, pale sulphur yellow and lavender. The żowers are sweet-scented, and their lasting quality after being cut is remarkable. The plants grow about eighteen inches high and are of the easiest culture; from spring-sown seed they commence to żower in July and continue until late in the autumn. The novelty is entirely distinct from all other Centaureas, and undoubtedly the most beautiful variety known. Mixed colors. Pkt., 100 seeds, 5 cts.
