Anotace knihy
When the noise becomes too much, Arturo discovers he can stop time. In the silence of a frozen world, he can finally think, breathe, and see what everyone else misses.
It's summer in Santa Cesarea Terme, in the heart of Salento, at the heel of Italy's boot, and Arturo spends his days with his grandmother Idrusa, wandering narrow alleys, exploring the rocks, and listening to the sea like no one else can. But something is changing: the water keeps getting warmer, and the waves are losing their rhythm and reaching places they shouldn't. Arturo notices, but hardly anyone seems willing to listen.
With the help of a mysterious orange cat, he finds six extraordinary seashells, each able to change the waves in its own way, but none able to do everything. When the storm arrives, Arturo decides to face it alone.
Is seeing what others can't enough to change anything?
A novel for readers aged 10 to 14 that weaves together reality and magic, sensitivity and adventure, set in the real landscapes of Salento. Includes illustrated guides to the six shells, a map, and a note on the places that inspired the story.
