Thanks to their intercession, the Lord sent an angel to deliver Peter. When the Israelites were steeped in idolatry with the Lord's wrath kindling over them, Moses interceded to save the fledgling nation. Similarly, after the three year and six-month drought in Israel, Elijah labored in intercession to end the drought and resultant famine. Then there is Jesus, who interceded while on earth, but is now seated at the right hand of the Father, making intercession for us.
