Everything was kept in the Property Room on Broome Street, and over the space of a few years, almost all of the drugs confiscated and held there were stolen, including those from The French Connection. The theft, with a street value of $70,000,000, has been referred to as the biggest heist in American history. Pete Bono discovered how this was being done and and got involved in a secret investigation that put not only his life but the lives of his family and friends...and even his sanity...in jeopardy. This is his story.
