The book is divided into three sections: The first section covers basic materials (from choice of suture materials to why powdered gloves can cause latex allergy), instruments (such as why scissors are right or left handed) and basic techniques (for example, how to deliberately tie a slip knot and how to avoid doing so accidentally!).
