Elementary, My Dear is a farce for three men and three women. At Tiller Towers, a decaying old country-house, James Tiller runs his School for the Training of Private Detectives-together with some less reputable activities on the side. His pupils are a strange collection - a lean young man with great enthusiasm and a liking for dressing up as Sherlock Holmes, a fifteen-year old schoolgirl straight out of St Trinian's, and an extremely sexy blonde.
