In 2018, the "International Organization for Septuagint and Cognate Studies" (IOSCS) celebrated its 50th Anniversary in Denver, Colorado. Most of the articles collected in this volume have been held as papers at this special occasion in a joint panel of the two major Göttingen Septuagint projects (Coptic Old Testament and Greek Psalter) under the title: "Göttingen Septuagint: Greek and Coptic".
