Eco-tourism means responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment and improves the well-being of local people. We have chosen twin temple cities for our study of eco - tourism, as an today no study has come in this direction. In the developmental process tourism has been identified as the top most labour intensive activity. It provides varieties of employment opportunities directly and indirectly in the destination area. In India, after garments, Gems and jewellery, tourism (third) largest sector generates around 18 million jobs, out of 44 millions.
