The Boswellia woodlands are facing several challenges in Ethiopia, the most important being conversion to cropland. Whether the conversion is motivated by better economic return to the farmers from alternative land use options, or by institutional weakness in relation to access and user rights in the forest/ woodland resources, was the focus of this book.
