Driven to Kill: The Primal Psychology of Love Triangles and Crimes of Passion by Dr. Paul Dawson.
Nothing is more dangerous than a person who believes they are fighting for their emotional survival. When a romantic bond morphs into a love triangle, the human mind rarely responds with logic; instead, it retreats into a primal panic of rejection and jealousy.
We like to believe that killers are fundamentally different from us, yet crimes of passion prove how terrifyingly thin the line is between desperate love and lethal fury. This book examines what happens when the fear of abandonment completely overrides the instinct for self-preservation, turning ordinary intimacy into a fatal trap.
Murder cases, motivated by romantic jealousy, crimes of passion, and love triangles are examined with an analytical, psychological, and psychoanalytic viewpoint.
