This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 7th IFIP TC 10 Working Conference on Distributed and Parallel Embedded Systems, DIPES 2010 and the 3rd IFIP TC 10 International Conference on Biologically-Inspired Collaborative Computing, BICC 2010, held as part of the 21st World Computer Congress, WCC 2010, in Brisbane, Australia, in September 2010.
