Anotace knihy

This is a comprehensive survey of imaging of the petrous temporal bone; it includes the imaging appearances of both rare and common pathology. All the latest imaging techniques are included, in particular magnetic resonance with the new paramagnetic contrast agent Gadolinium DTPA. Opening chapters give an account of imaging techniques and normal anatomy and are followed by chapters on congenital ear disease, trauma, inflammatory disease and neoplasia; acoustic neuroma is given a separate section.
