In this book the authors systematically present their theoretical, experimental and numerical research on concrete materials and structures under high-speed projectile and aircraft impacts in recent years. Innovative approaches for analyzing the rigid, mass abrasive and eroding projectile penetration mechanism are proposed. Furthermore, new types of concrete materials and structures against projectile impact are developed and their capacity of resisting projectile impact are evaluated. Then damage and failure analyses of nuclear power plant containment impacted by large commercial aircraft are numerically discussed.
