"Chronological order is the order in which the events occurred, from first to last. This is the easiest pattern to write and to follow" (stanhopeschools.org).
There is an inherent intrigue in the idea of something following something else. Stories or poems, in this case, which are ordered chronologically in Chronological Order may contain more information than if they stood alone. I am interested in their association and why they presented themselves to me. What was the muse doing when they whispered them into my ear? This is why I kept to this particular Order.
Chronological Order, too, is an attempt to depict reality as it is. I am also hoping that each piece creates catharsis in the reader. As far as I can tell, Catharsis is the most critical thing in life. There is nothing more grand and fantastic. As I write, I have always wanted to emulate my experience reading The New Yorker and Granta poems and short stories, for example, although there is a world of excellent writing.
