The book introduces BROCOM, an approach for a business rule-oriented conceptual modeling which is supported by BURRO, a business rule repository. Prior to focus on themodeling of business rules, their relevance in organizational approaches of Business Administration is discussed and alternatives for their implementing are evaluated. The introduction of BROCOM encompasses its meta model and modeling steps. Furthermore, the potential of graphical models for representing specific aspects is discussed regarding a real world example.
