Anotace knihy

With a simple poetic style, Kurt Lammi retells Biblical stories in the first section of his book entitled "Bread." This clever approach to telling these well-known stories has a child-like quality about it. The second section, "Beggars," is different in both form and content than the first section. Here, Lammi addresses more mature themes such as faith, doubt, and social justice with poems that are more theologically reflective.
