Anotace knihy

JCO, IVV, and AFK are three researchers, or at least those are the designations that are given to them in a vast underground facility known as Below Grade. They are each administrators in a three-month long study, during which they live in total isolation, interacting only with their study subject and their individual overseer via screens. The company that runs the facility, Myrmech, is one of the driving forces behind the studies that have reshaped society, and they pride themselves on secrecy, to the extent that not even the study administrators in their facility know the point of their exercises. Only Olivia, the Study Director and Myrmech's sole arbiter underground, knows the true nature of the experiment. During their stays, JCO, IVV, and AFK will each grapple with the uncertainty of their purpose and the isolation of their circumstances as they try to complete their time Below Grade.
