The heritage of the Church is to be "...the light of the world" (Matthew 5:14). Amidst the worldwide darkness prophesied in Isaiah 60, the prophet Isaiah adjured the Church to "arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee" (Isaiah 60:1).
